Youth Development Program
The Pro Action Youth Development Program (YDP) is an out-of-school time drop-in youth program that operates after school during the school year, and all day on weekdays in the summer and on school breaks. The program can serve up to 40 youth at a time and is located at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Bath. The program site features a large main program space, plus a separate area for teens. An office and meeting area allows for partner agencies to have office hours when youth and families can enroll in and/or receive services. Snacks are regularly provided, and self-serve microwave meals are handy to address meal gaps. Activities offered through the YDP include homework support, outdoor play, STEAM activities and projects, crafts, downtime, recreation, and learning programs from partner agencies. A Youth Advisory Council routinely provides input into program plans and decisions.
